About the Opportunity
This Framework is ideal for multi-disciplinary technology service providers who specialise in workplace solutions, digital transformation and compliance. The agreement can be used by all UK Public Sector bodies, including Central Government, the NHS, Police, and Fire and Rescue.
The ideal supplier will also provide any products or services that can be matched to the Service requirement guidelines:
1. COTS Software Licensing
A software product that is commercially ready-made and available for sale, lease, or license to the general public.
2. Bespoke Software Development
Software developed specifically for a particular organisation or individual to address their unique needs and requirements. It is tailored to fit a specific use case and is not off-the-shelf or generic.
3. Infrastructure Equipment Supply
Supply of hardware and software with relation to the creation of new infrastructure.
4. Infrastructure Support and Maintenance
The support and maintenance of new/existing infrastructure (fibre, cables etc.).
5. Infrastructure Management Services – Equipment
The management and maintenance of infrastructure equipment.
6. Infrastructure Management Services – Software
Infrastructure management regarding software management and maintenance and upkeep.
7. Communication (Voice & Data) Services – Fixed
Fixed Communication services.
8. Communication (Voice & Data) Services – Mobile
Mobile Communication services.
The NHS Long Term Plan
This initiative aims to transform the NHS with a range of digital health tools and services, providing faster, safer and more convenient care. In keeping with this, the NHS is investing in improving NHS IT systems, allowing people to seek health information and support online, backed up by face-to-face care when needed.
What Could You Miss Out On?
Not expanding into the Public Sector means you are excluding yourself from a major source of revenue. Missing out on a share of £1.5bn of funding would in turn affect growth, and you lose the chance to make valuable connections within the Public Sector.
Under the new Procurement Act, you would lose your current Public Sector customers without being awarded onto a Framework and would instead be restricted to the Private Sector. This would mean you fall behind your competitors.
